The different components you will need to build your wooden toy box:
The tools you need to build your wooden toy box
1 - CUTTING YOUR PLANKS
Cut the boards to the dimensions of the plan given in the tutorial sheet
2 - WOOD PREPARATION
Tracing and cutting boards for handles and smoothing edges
3 - BOX ASSEMBLY
Start by securing a large board with a small board with the ROCKET 4x40/22 wood and chipboard screw with bichromate steel star recess. Then attach the other end of the large board to the second small one.
4 - FIXING OF THE BASE
Take the frame you just built and put a large plank on it. Secure it with the Wood and Agglo Rocket 5x40/22 screw with bichromate steel star recess.
5 - ASSEMBLY OF FURNITURE HARDWARE
Secure the wheels, the hinges and the stopping calipers with wood and chipboard screws ROCKET star recess zinc-plated steel. The screw dimensions to be used depend on the hole sizes of the hardware products purchased.

Which screw recess to choose?
If you’re looking for efficiency like the pros, go for the time-saving star recess. It allows easy screwing even in awkward positions. The bit is well maintained in the recess of the screw.
As for the pozi recess, it has a big advantage over the star imprint if it is painted. The pozi impression will be more suitable for this use because it will be easier to remove the paint on this type of impression in the event of disassembly.
Which thread to choose?
Partial threading is more suitable for this type of work. It has the particularity of bringing the woods closer together and thus ensuring better tightening since the screw turns and slides freely.
However, make sure that the thread is completely fixed in the holder for the tightening to give the desired effect. The unthreaded part of the screw must be of a minimum length to the thickness of the wood to be fixed.
ROCKET BICHROMATE AND ZINC COATED STEEL WOOD AND CHIPBOARD SCREWS = Cutting-edge technology that makes a difference
The technical characteristics of ROCKET screws (slim, sharpened point; ribbed thread; hard-wearing triple cone), allied to their physical characteristics (high-quality steel, thermal treatment, dry lubrication, etc.) make these high-quality screws.
ROCKET screws deliver performance levels that are significantly higher than with standard screws, ticking all the boxes: initial grip, break resistance, non-splitting and durability.
